When you’re born and raised in a city like New York, it’s hard not to notice the way the world moves. Cars. Taxis. Trains. Subways. Trams. Ferries. Bikes. As a young boy, I was fascinated by the motion of it all. People were always moving forward; getting stuff done. I felt that energy, and I fell in love with transport – cars and trucks in particular.
It makes sense that I landed in an auto transport services career. In my early days, I was a UPS air driver, racing against the clock to deliver urgent packages throughout the maze that is Midtown Manhattan. I quickly learned the fastest routes, the backroads, the shortcuts to beat the clock – and this was my life for 5 busy years.
The pace winded down when I married my beautiful wife. We decided to start over in Wellington, Florida, a quiet village known for its laidback lifestyle and suburban energy (pretty much the opposite of NYC!). When I couldn’t transfer my UPS-pay, I saw it as a sign. I made my inner-child proud by launching my own auto hauling business.
And it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
By the time I launched my auto shipping company, I was armed with discipline, an obsession with efficiency, and the ability to not just survive under pressure – but thrive in it. I was in my element, doing what I love: Serving people and helping them move with confidence and efficiency.
What started as a simple operation along the NY-FL corridor quickly flourished into one of the nation’s most trusted family-owned and -operated auto shipping companies, servicing the sprawling East Coast region (and beyond).

Being mostly off the road also means I can spent more time with our three remarkable children, one of whom is on the spectrum. I’m proud to share that I’ve partnered with Autism Speaks, a nonprofit at the forefront of autism awareness and research. I’m even prouder to announce that a portion of every vehicle we move supports their mission. Because at East Coast Auto Haulers, we move more than cars. We want to move the country forward, one haul at a time.
